Rebels is inspired by the all the people throughout history and lore who have fought the powers that be to make right, to bring justice and expand equity and compassion for humanity.

The circular patterns in Nicole’s original mandalas are inspired by movement and by nature. Color schemes vary from bright and jubilant rainbows to subtle stoney neutral tones. Each mandala in this collection was created digitally in many, many layers- building depth and dimension to emphasize certain lines or curves, yet also allowing the eye to wander along the sinuous curves and repeated patterns.
